I...Thanks--I'm glad you enjoyed the project! I'll probably post a couple more times on there, but I'm done with recipes (the chicken one was delicious.) I usually don't comment on blogs either, especially outside of my field, which may be why I'm curious what some folks are doing to solicit frequent comments. Like you said, maybe we just have quiet readers!Juliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16768009324530394698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8232572935931441295.post-23193890681650350402011-03-15T14:51:24.439-07:002011-03-15T14:51:24.439-07:00Unfortunately I don't have many tips on engagi...Unfortunately I don't have many tips on engaging readers to comment. I don't get a lot of comments on my blog that I've been working on for a good four and a half years. But mine is pretty random - an all-over the place journal of sorts.

I was following your MM blog consistently, but haven't commented in a while mostly due to lack of time on my end. In fact I noticed that one of the commenters on your Wafer post was a reader that follows my blog as well - and her comment was nearly what I was going to say - so I didn't comment that your wafer iron looked much like Rick's great grandmother's pizzelle iron (which I've also seen on ebay).

I'm not sure what gets readers to engage, especially in things that are a project or personal journey. I too get lots of hits from specific searches and I know people are reading - just staying quiet for some reason?

I enjoyed your project.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
